The Honourable Islamabad High Court has granted a stay order in the case of paint brush filaments. The appeal was pending before the anti-dumping appellate tribunal. An application was moved before the national tariff commission to provide the list of documents that have been retained confidential. However, NTC did not reply within time and a similar application was also moved before the Tribunal who instructed the appellants to approach NTC. The tribunal was also of the view that final arguments be made in the appeal.
Our lawfirm was instructed by the appellants to approach the Honourable Islamabad High Court in the matter. A writ petition was filed and the Honourable Islamabad High Court was pleased to take cognizance of the matter by accepting the repetition for hearing and issued state orders.
The tribunal, while implementing the orders of the Honourable Islamabad High Court and upon the request filed by our law firm has adjourned the appeal.
