Mr. Salman Farooq (Ex Legal Officer NTC Pakistan), Advocate, LLM International Trade and Commercial Law, University of London 

Mr. Salman Farooq specializes in the field of International Trade law and has handled the most number of cases of anti-dumping in Pakistan, inside the National Tariff Commission and in the courts of the country. He joined the legal profession as Advocate in the year 2003.From 2003 to 2007 he worked as associate in Tax and Corporate Law firm. He got his advanced degree in Law i.e. LLM from University of London in the year 2007-08.  He served as legal officer to the National Tariff Commission from 2009 . He had diversified role in working as the legal officer, being the only legal officer to have previous experience of litigation of 6 years at the time of joining the NTC in the year 2009. He has a track record of 100% success in the courts of law. The biggest case, in terms of volume of money involved was also dealt with by Mr. Salman Farooq and he successfully presented the case, which is now a leading precedent in the anti-dumping law

As a vibrant professional in the legal career, she was indulged in consultancy and research, dealing with client, and court representations both at the District and High Court level 

As an active member of the legal wing of the Commission, she remained involved in all the stages of anti dumping and countervailing investigations conducted by the Commission. Along with substantial investigations, this encompassed the pre application stage for which she was appointed as coordinator of the pre application counselling team of the Commission to communicate with and advise the representatives of the domestic industry.
